GigaMart
Trade the collection and talk to its holders on the same page.
The problem
NFT traders lived in six tabs: a marketplace, an analytics site, the collection's Discord, a wallet, a notification bot. GigaMart's bet was that trading gets better when the data and the community share one interface.
The build
Set technical direction, picked the frontend and backend stacks, and managed the external contractors building alongside the core team.
Personally built the real-time collection chat on WebSockets: public rooms and verified-holder rooms gated by on-chain ownership, live on every collection page.
The platform shipped with aggregated listings, rankings, owner analytics, collector profiles, notifications, and dashboards mixing charts, feeds, chat, and Dune embeds.
The result
- Went from public announcement to open beta in eight days, December 2022.
- Another marketplace team cited GigaMart's collection chat as the reference implementation while designing their own.
- One of Super Studios' two flagship SuperVerse products at launch, alongside Impostors.
Built by a team at Super Studios: visual design, marketplace contracts, and analytics were the work of others. Media comes from official launch material and public archives.
